• Many openings can be found in industrial facilities. Some are pedestrian while others are product passage ways. Without some type of seal, these openings will allow noise, dust, fumes and conditioned air to get though. A strip curtain is an inexpensive way to seal these openings, conserve energy and provide a safe, clear and easy passage.
• Five most common types of PVC offered: standard, low temp, extra low temp, welding and ribbed. Other grades such as reinforced, black opaque, safety strip and anti-static are also available.
• Mounting options:
  • Angle Mount – this system utilizes a galvanized steel angle bracket that is mounted to the ceiling or under the lintel of a doorway between the jambs.
  • Surface Mount – a galvanized steel flat bar is used to mount the strip door so it is covered above and beyond the opening
  • Single Slide – used when there is clearance to slide the entire door out of the way of the opening.
  • Off-Wall Mount – commonly used on overhead door where the strip door cannot be mounted above the opening because the overhead door is in the way. A heavy-duty angle bracket suspends the strips from two off-wall brackets that project 12" from the wall
  • Bi-Part Track Mount – similar to off-wall mounting, this method allows the customer to slide the curtain 90 out of the way when not required.
